Couples Counseling

Opening up to your partner and connecting on a deeper level or addressing concerns head-on in a safe space can strengthen and even save many relationships. For couples who want to grow and heal together in any relationship, I provide couples counseling that can be a productive way to achieve both self awareness and trust. In some cases, couples seek counseling to facilitate a deeper connection and to achieve greater intimacy within the relationship. It can also benefit couples who are planning to get married facilitate more open conversation and address each others differences in a safe space before making a lifelong commitment.

Couples counseling is designed to improve relationships by allowing all types of couples to confront issues, resolve relationship conflicts, and improve quality of life. Its purpose is to encourage each individual to make responsible and thoughtful decisions about their partnership. Counseling is often done with both partners present, but in some cases one partner works with me individually.

For other couples, counseling can address specific issues that are lowering the quality of a relationship or threatening its stability. Counseling can be especially beneficial for one or both people in a relationship facing:

  • Anger Management Issues
  • Conflicts About Raising Children

  • Divorce or Separation
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Sexual Abuse
  • Financial Concerns
  • Infidelity
